State police at Frackville are looking for a shoplifter that fled a Schuylkill County store with merchandise.

Troopers said the incident occurred about 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 1, at the Sears store in the Schuylkill Mall, New Castle Township. Troopers said a white female was confronted by store security leaving the store with merchandise she had not paid for. She managed to flee to her vehicle and drove off.The suspect was described as being 22-25 years of age, about five-feet, five-inch, 160 pounds with long blonde curly hair and a ponytail. The car was described as being a late 1990s model Pontiac Grand Am, white in color, loud exhaust system, with damage to the driver's side front door. The first three letters of the registration plate is GZT.Anyone with information concerning this incident or the vehicle involved is asked to call troopers at (570) 874-5300.
