Pocono Mountain Regional police are investigating three burglaries at Monroe County businesses all occurring in a two-day period.

Police said Papa Pizza, SR940, in Pocono Summit, Tobyhanna Township, was entered and the cash register taken. The entry was discovered about 11:42 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19.Also on Saturday, about 12:07 a.m. police were dispatched to the United Check Cashing, 601 SR940, in Mt. Pocono, for a security alarm. On scene police found that the business had been entered. Police did not note if anything was taken.On Sunday, about 2:16 a.m., police received a report of an alarm at Community Check Cashing, located at 180 Sterling Rd., in Mt. Pocono. Police found evidence of a forced entry. It was not noted if anything was taken.Police ask anyone with information on any of these incidents to call them at (570) 895-2400.
