Tamaqua police are investigating an act of criminal mischief and theft from a vehicle, reported to the department at 5:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 18.

Theodore Frace, of 321 W. Broad St., Tamaqua, called to report that someone smashed the rear door side window of his vehicle, then removed a JL Audio subwoofer and red amplifier.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call police at (570) 668-6100.
