The November meeting of Carbon County Democrats for Change (CCDC) will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 23 at the Inn at Jim Thorpe in the Basement Conference Room.

Guest speaker will be Cathy Frankenberg of Clean Water Action, a national citizens' organization working for clean, safe, and affordable water, and prevention of health-threatening pollution. Cathy will be talking about Marcellus Shale gas drilling and other threats to our clean water supply.Attendees of this meeting are invited to bring a non-perishible food item which will be donated to the Lehighton Food Pantry.CCDC is an action group in Carbon County that supports progressive legislation and candidates at the national, state, and local level.
