Lehighton FBLA students learn from Enterprise Day experiences

As part in National Enterprise Day on Nov. 15, which was designated by the national office of the Future Business Leaders of America, the FBLA chapter of Lehighton High School learned about free enterprise activities involved in a typical work day

Eight members of the Lehighton FBLA visiting various places of business where they learned about pricing merchandise, taking inventory, preparing advertisements, reading invoices, handling mail, and filing papers.To prepare for the day, the participating students took part in a meeting which included punctuality, courtesy, customer service, shoplifting, and proper grooming habits according to Kim Mychaliszyn-Simko, FBLA adviser.Students who took part are: Steven Anthony, First National Pharmacy; Dalton Christman, Ahner's Furniture; Brandon Edgar, Carbon Country Sheriff Department; Elyse Kistler, Dr. Narayana Gajula; Sarah Kistler, Carbon County Commissioner office; Nate Kresge, Register of Wills office; Holly Niehoff, Lehighton Area High School Guidance office, and Haley Sawyer, B104.
