With just this week and next week left in our 2010 Grid Picks race, my main objective right now is to stay out of the basement since finishing first is well out of my reach.

As a matter of fact, hats of to Andy Steinmetz, who hasn't crumbled a bit all season and his 14-1 record last week probably has him getting fitted for the championship crown since Jason Boris and Joe Plasko slipped three and five games out, respectively.T.J. Engle has a shot to pass yours truly but I'm still a good seven games ahead of Bob Ford. Central Catholic, 38-14.PIUS X AT SCHUYLKILL HAVEN - Royals surprised us with a win last week. Not this time around ... Schuylkill Haven, 21-7.EMMAUS AT LIBERTY - This game might come right down to the wire. Hornets defense vs. Hurricanes offense ... Liberty, 14-7.BERWICK AT VALLEY VIEW - Bulldogs beat Bangor last week, but aren't the team that wore the Blue and White when George Curry was there ... Valley View, 21-14.WYOMING AREA AT PINE GROVE - Cardinals survived a close battle with Catasauqua last week. This week they get another close win ...
