Parishioners of St. Peter the Fisherman Church in Lake Harmony have been collecting everyday personal items such as toiletries, mouthwash, tissues, hard candies, etc. for the past couple weeks to benefit soldiers stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan. Members of the St. Vincent de Paul Society took the items to the American Legion Post on Route 209 in Gilbert to be prepared for distribution overseas.
