Tara McArdle and Oscar Dovale were united in marriage on July 31, 2010, at the basilica of Santa Luzia in Viana do Castelo, Portugal, in a double ring ceremony.

The daughter of George and Jane Culver of Jim Thorpe, and William McArdle, also of Jim Thorpe, the bride was given in marriage by her mother.Her sister, Lisa Butrymowicz of Little Egg Harbor Township, N.J. was the matron of honor. The bridegroom's sister, Ema Paula Dovale of Lanheses, was a bridesmaid.Jorge Paulo Dovale, Lanheses, brother of the bridegroom, served as the best man. Teagen Butrymowicz, Little Egg Harbor Township, the brides's nephew, was the ring bearer.Following the ceremony, the couple welcomed family and friends to a reception at the Pousada do Monte de Santa Luzia, Viana do Castelo.The couple honeymooned in Budapest, Hungary; Prague, Czech Republic; and Vienna, Austria.The new Mrs. Dovale is a 1996 graduate of Marian Catholic High School and a 2000 graduate of DeSales University. She is currently employed as a material specialist at Shire Pharmaceuticals in Wayne, Pa.Mr. Dovale is the son of Floriano Alves Dovale and the late Rosa Alise Dovale of Lanheses, Portugal. He is a 1993 graduate of Riverside High School and a 1997 graduate of Instituto Superior Politecnico. He is employed as an on-air vendor for QVC.The newlyweds reside in Chester Springs, Pa.
