Barnesville man is jailed for shooting into a residence

A Barnesville man was jailed yesterday after he allegedly fired five or six gunshots at a home.

State police at Frackville said Justin Blume, 38, was arrested along Mountain Road about 11:45 a.m.According to troopers Blume went to the home of Vicki Jones, 38, of New Philadelphia Rd., in Orwigsburg, West Brunswick Township, and attempted to make contact with her. As he drove away from the home he fired the shots from a pistol in the direction of Jones' home.She called troopers who went to the scene. At the scene troopers said Blume called Jones on her cell phone and once again threatened to kill her stating "he was on his way."He was then taken into custody and arraigned before District Judge James Ferrier, Orwigsburg, on charges of aggravated and simple assault, terroristic threats, and recklessly endangering another person.Ferrier set bail at $100,000 straight cash. Blume was unable to post the bail and was committed to the county prison in Pottsville.
