Carbon County Safe Kids will host a free car seat check up for all Carbon County residents with children on Wednesday, Nov. 24, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Palmerton Ambulance building, 501 Delaware Ave., Palmerton.

Parents should bring their child and his or her car seat to get checked by a car seat safety specialist. The specialist will check to make sure the car seat is installed properly; if there are any recalls on that car seat; and how well the child fits in the seat.
