Mahoning Township police reported the arrest of a woman for retail theft.

On Wednesday, Nov. 10, officers were called to the Wal-mart store at about 4:23 p.m. for a report of a female in custody for theft.Police said Amanda L. Logenbach, 23, of the 200 block of Fairview St., Franklin Township, allegedly attempted to take $57.66 worth of merchandise from the store without paying for it. At the time she had her two children with her, ages 1 and 2. The children was turned over to a male companion with her.Logenbach was charged with felony retail theft because she has prior convictions for theft. She was arraigned before duty District Judge Joseph Homanko, of Weatherly, and released on $5,000 unsecured bail.
