Crashes probed

State police at Lehighton reported on three crashes investigated by troopers in recent days.

A one vehicle crash occurred about 6:26 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 8, along SR115 in Ross Township, Monroe County. Troopers said Kevin J. Martin, 35, of Saylorsburg, was driving a 2005 Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck southbound when he struck a deer that had entered the road. Martin was not injured but damages were disabling to the truck.A one vehicle crash was reported about 10:10 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 9, along SR209 in Polk Township, Monroe County. Troopers said James R. Theesfeld, 28, of Palmerton, was driving a 2010 Hyundai Accent southbound when he struck a deer that and entered the road in front of him. Theesfeld was not injured but damages were disabling to the car.A two vehicle crash occurred about noon on Tuesday at Maple Spring Drive, and Mt. Laurel Drive, in Polk Township. Troopers said Michael G. Selby, 25, of Kunkletown, turned left from Mt. Laurel onto Maple Spring and crashed into a 1996 Jeep Cherokee, driven by Marcia A. Ross, 58, of Kunkletown, with his 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe.Ross was injured but did not require immediate medical attention. Selby was not injured. Damages were disabling to both vehicles, which were towed from the scene.Troopers cited Selby for vehicle turning left.
