Night of fun and laughter planned for Tech-Net Comedy Night

A night of fun and laughter is planned for Saturday, Nov. 20, when the eighth annual Tech-Net Comedy Night will be held at Penn's Peak, Jim Thorpe. Doors open at 5 p.m. The live comedy show, featuring comedians from Wise Crackers Comedy Club will begin at 9 p.m. There also will be live music and a silent auction.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Dream Come True, Blue Ridge Chapter and the following six local fire departments: Aquashicola Volunteer Fire Department, Franklin Township Fire Company, Lehigh Township Volunteer Fire Company, Parryville Fire Company, Penn Forest Fire Company and West End Fire Company, Brodheadsville.Donations of products, services and/or gift certificates are being accepted for the silent auction.For more information about tickets or to donate a prize, contact Wayne Halliday at (610) 737-7994, Palmerton Auto Parts Store at (610) 826-4702 or 1 (800) 262-5504. Tickets are available at Tech-Net Professional Auto Service locations or at any of the participating fire companies.Tech-Net Profession Auto Service has raised more than $79,000 over the past seven years from this fun-filled, one-night event to support the local community.
