A Tamaqua driver was involved in a one-vehicle crash in Lehigh County. State police at Fogelsville said the accident occurred about 7:45 a.m. on Nov. 4 along SR100, near Hollenbach Rd., in Lowhill Township.

Troopers said Shannon S. Boyer, 37, was driving a 2005 Jeep Liberty southbound and entering a right curve when the rear of the vehicle slid to the left. Boyer steered into the slide and the vehicle then traveled across the northbound lane and onto the east berm where the front end struck an embankment.After impact the Liberty spun counter-clockwise and traveled south along the berm before coming to rest partially on the east berm and partially in the northbound lane.Boyer was not injured, troopers said.
