Wide-range of seminar topics

Seminars that cover everything from preseason scouting to the preparing of venison will be presented during "Deer Classic Weekend," Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 13 and 14, at Cabela's, Route 61, Hamburg.

"Field Dressing and Processing Your Deer" will be presented by members of the Mossy Oak Pro Staff, Saturday at 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., and local butchers and representatives of Hunters Sharing the Harvest will present the seminar, Sunday, at 10 a.m. Seminars will be held both days outside at the front of the store."Getting the Most Out of Your Rifle" will be presented by Bob Hart, Saturday, at 10 a.m., in the second floor conference room. Hart, a Nescopeck native, is recognized as a world-renowned authority on rifle accuracy and long range shooting."Deer Scents and Deer Calls" will be presented by Hunter Specialties Pro Staff member Ron Toth, Saturday, at 11 a.m., and Sunday, at 1 p.m., in the second floor conference room. A Pennsylvania native, Toth will focus on tactics that are effective on highly pressured deer."Setting Your Sights on a Successful Deer Hunt" will be presented, Saturday, at noon, in the second floor conference room. This seminar will discus the use of scopes, binoculars, spotting scopes and range finders."Speak the Language" with Primo's Pro Staff member Kenny Mcgeehan will be presented, Saturday, at 1 p.m., in the second floor conference room. Calling techniques for beginners and veteran hunters will be presented."Improving Bow-Hunting Accuracy and Extending Your Range" will be presented by Under Armour Pro Staff member John Dudley, Saturday, at 2 p.m., in the second floor conference room. Basic and advanced techniques to improve bowhunting skills will be presented."Hunting with Hornady: Accurate, Deadly, Dependable" will be presented, Sunday, at 11 a.m., in the second floor conference room. Topics will focus on ammunition selection, ballistics and reloading."Experience a Deer Hunt with Remington: America's Oldest Gun Maker" will be presented, Sunday, at noon, in the second floor conference room. This seminar will focus on popular deer rifles and calibers."Pennisylvania Whitetail Strategies" with Freddie McKnight will be presented, Sunday, at 2 p.m., in the second floor conference room.
