A Carbon County resident was the victim of an assault incident in Lehigh County.

State police at Fogelsville said the incident occurred at the Carbon-Lehigh Intermediate Unit Special Services facility at 2936 Corporate Court, in Lowhill Township, on Tuesday, Nov. 2, at 2:10 p.m. Troopers said a juvenile male caused an injury to Shawn A. Skrimcovsky, of Jim Thorpe, a teacher at the facility. Skrimcovsky sustained a injury to his farhead. The teen also spit on the victim and yelled numerous profanities.The teen was charged with aggravated and simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. He was placed in the Lehigh County Detention Center pending a court hearing, troopers added.
