The state Department of Transportation has imposed a weight limit of 15 tons (25 tons for combinations), on the Sugar Hollow Road Bridge over Sugar Hollow Creek in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County.

A recent inspection of the bridge showed deterioration to the steel I-beams. Vehicles over the weight limit must seek an alternate route.The Sugar Hollow Road Bridge is a steel I-beam bridge built in 1932 and is 19 feet long and 24.3 feet wide. This area of Sugar Hollow Road has an average daily traffic of 4,790 vehicles, according to PennDOT.
