A Carbon County business has been cited by the Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state liquor control board.

2008 River Walck Saloon, LLC, 101 Centre St., Parryville, has been cited for used, or permitted to be used on the inside of the licensed premises, a loudspeaker or similar device whereby the sound of music or other entertainment, or the advertisement thereof, could be heard outside.The alleged violations occurred on Sept. 18 and Oct. 1.The charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. In addition the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge brought.
