A hit and run driver is being sought in Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said the incicent was reported about 12:58 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30, along SR183 at Lefty's Lockers in Wayne Township.Troopers said a 1993 Jeep Wrangler was driven southbound in the left lane when, for unknown reasons, the driver veered to the right. The Jeep traveled off the road onto the west berm and then to the driveway of Lefty's. The Jeep then impacted with a boulder in the landscaping of Lefty's. The impact caused damage to the undercarriage of the Jeep to the point it became disabled.The driver fled the scene prior to the arrival of troopers.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at (570) 593-2000.
