Nesquehoning arrest reported

Nesquehoning police reported the arrest of a borough resident for theft and receiving stolen property charges.

Officer Timothy Wuttke filed the charges against Jaden Diacheysn, 24 N. Allen St. Wuttke received a report from Joan Diacheysn that her gold bracelet was stolen in the beginning of September. Through an investigation the officer learned that the bracelet was sold to a Nick Cuono in Nesquehoning.The bracelet was recovered and the charges were filed against Diacheysn on Tuesday, Oct. 26.In another matter Wuttke received a report on Oct. 24 for a stolen firearm. Christian Glenn, of 132 Brookfield Way, Mountain Top, reported he was at a shooting range of SR93 on the Broad Mountain on Oct. 23. After shooting he placed his Marlin 30-30 rifle with a wood stock and blue barrel with Tasco scope in a black plastic case and left placed it on a bench. He left the scene and realized later he left the gun behind. He returned to the site and found the gun was missing.Wuttke asked anyone with information concerning this incident to call police at (570) 669-9111.
