NL Halloween Parade

The 103rd annual Northern Lehigh Parade will be held Saturday. The parade will form at 5 p.m. Streets will be closed to traffic at 6 p.m. The parade starts at 6:30 p.m.Sponsored by the Northern Lehigh Events Committee, the parade forms at South and Main Street in Slatington. From there, it follows Main Street through Slatington, over the General Morgan Bridge, and continues into Walnutport, where it then turns onto Lincoln Avenue. Walking groups and small floats are picked up at the Walnutport Playground, while large floats pull into the shopping center parking lot for unloading.Trick-or-TreatTrick-or-Treat will be held in Slatington tonight (Wednesday) from 6-8 p.m.Slatington Crime WatchThe next meeting of the Slatington Crime Watch will be held at 7 p.m. Nov. 18.
