Medallions were presented to four Carbon County residents by the Carbon County Heart Association for meritorious serice and achievement in work of the county chapter. Receiving the award were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Fauzio of Nesquehoning, for outstanding work in raising funds for research; L. Hawort Hoffmeier of Lehighton, eight years of administration as the association treasurer, and Allen Gombert Jr. of Parryville, general chairman of the 1958 fund.
