They were married May 13, 1989.Removed from ARDThree men were removed by President Judge William E. Baldwin from the Accelerated Rehabilative Disposition (ARD) program. The program is reserved for those committing a non-violent crime for the first time to allow them to serve a probation sentence to clear their name. They now face jury trials and if convicted the blemish remains on their record.Troy Eric Maskerines, 48, Pottsville, faces charges brought by Patrolman Joseph R. Welsh, Pottsville police, of possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct.Michael John Sinkovich, 39, Pottsville, faces charges brought by Patrolman Renee Galle, Pottsville police, of possession of a small amount of marijuana.Michael Francis Jevelle, 24, Ringtown, faces charges brought by Chief Shawn Tray, West Mahanoy Township police, of possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.Revoke probationAshley Donald Adams, 24, Pottsville, was removed by Judge Baldwin from probation for violating rules fixed by the court and was re-sentenced to serve four to 23 months in the county prison with credit for serving 93 days and when paroled shall enroll and successfully complete the Batters Program and participate in drug and alcohol counseling. Adams pleaded guilty to charges of causing criminal mischief to a vehicle and disorderly conduct. He was cited by Patrolman Francis Hill, Pottsville police.Deed of releaseEmmanual A. Thomas and Glori Thomas, of 38 Troxell Valely Road, Andreas, West Penn Township, owners of property affected by installation and maintenance of a drainage ditch in Rush Township, on their property at Fairview Street, for $14,000 executed a deed of release to Department of Transportation.Revoke paroleRobert F. Willlie III, 22, Minersville, had his parole revoked by Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin and his 330 days of liberty taken away and added to his sentence. He was re-sentenced to serve six to 12 months in the county prison and a minimum date set at April 14, 2011, and a maximum date at Oct. 14, 2011. Willie pleaded guilty to criminal trespass and theft of jewelry from a Minersville resident's and after serving 22 days in prison was released on probation for 23 months.Property transfersSheriff Joseph Groody, at sheriff sale, to Deutsch Bank Natinal Trust Company, Pasadena, Calif., property at 189 Hillside Lane, New Ringgold, owned by Shawn M. Watson, Auburn, parcel on east side of Brew Street, Tamaqua, $1 (full consideration $42,000).Richard Rehatchek to Antoinette Allesch, both of Coaldale, property on west side of Fifth Street, Coaldale, .$1 (full consideration $15,000).Jury awards damagesA jury returned a verdict awarding monetary damages to a Pottsville man injured when he was thrown from his motorcycle when struck in the rear by a car.James Weyand was awarded damages amounting to $53,880.31, which included $21,880 for unpaid medical bills, $30,000 for pain and suffering and $2,000 for loss of consortium. The verdict was against the motorist, Clyde Whipple, of Brackney, Susquehanna County.The accident occured on June 24, 2008, at the intersection of Route 62 and Adamsdale Road in Orwigsburg. Weyand suffered head, shoulder and leg injuries. The trial judge was John E. Domalakes.
