Lions to meetThe monthly meeting of the Summit Hill Lions Club will be held Tuesday, Oct. 26, at 6 p.m. at the Parkview Inn. Dr. Kenneth Vermillion, president, will be in charge of the session.The guest speaker will be Bob Argot, past district governor. His topic will be the Lions Clubs International Foundation, which helps with national and international disaster relief and other humanitarian projects.Food pantryThe Summit Hill Hill Food Pantry distributes foods to the needy in town usually on the fourth Tuesday of the month between 10 a.m. and noon.
