A driver was slightly injured in a one vehicle crash that occurred about 3:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 13, along SR209 near Church St., Branch Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Walter F. Androshick Jr., 41, of Saint Clair, was driving a 1988 Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck northbound when he came upon four vehicles stopped on the road for a mobile mapping vehicle that was working in the area.Androshick applied his brakes and avoided striking the stopped vehicles, troopers said. His truck left about 40 feet of tire marks on the road before striking a guard rail with the under carriage. After stirking the guard rail the truck hit a ditch on the other side of the rail and then rolled one time going down an embankment before coming to final rest facing northeast.Androshick sustained a minor injury to his index finger and was transported to the Schuylkill Medical Center-S. Jackson St., Pottsville.Troopers said Androshick was cited.
