Trick or Treat

Trick or Treat night will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27 in the Borough of Palmerton. Residents are reminded to leave their porch lights on if they are participating. Drivers are cautioned to watch for children in the streets.Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 Lafayette Avenue, will be open to greet Halloweeners with candy and hot chocolate.Community supperA free community meal will be held from 4-6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 28, at St. John's Episcopal Church, 365 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton.Camera ClubThe Palmerton Camera Club will have a Photography Show from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24, at the Filbert Bed and Breakfast in Danielsville. The public is invited to come and meet the artists. Tours of the Victorian Inn will also be available.The regular meeting of the club will be held at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 28 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton. Don Schroder will open the meeting with an overview of Nikon Capture, a photo editing software that comes with Nikon digital cameras. The main program will be on the Lehigh Valley Sustainability Program and what photographers can do to encourage wise use of our resources. Refreshments will be served, and the meeting is open to the public.
