The West Penn Elementary School students got to vote on which of their teachers received a pie in the face, as part of an annual event, held recently in the school gym. Ten teachers were given the honor of "receiving" a pie by sticking their faces into the whip cream pie to see who was the first to find the hidden gumball and then blowing the first bubble. They include kindergarten teacher Jean Brennan, physical education teacher Jeff Reading, pictured; first-grade teacher Audra Schlect, second-grade teacher Vanessa Boyle, third-grade teacher Ashley Stanek, third-grade teacher Abby Neverosky, teacher Jen Kinder, fourth-grade teacher Nicole.
