Two classroom presenters from the National Energy Foundation (NEF) held a saving energy presentation, called Think Energy Program, recently for third to fifth grade students in the gym at the Tamaqua Elementary School recently.
The event is sponsored by PPL Electric Utilities.The program was developed in concert with their Resource Action Programs. Besides listening to the presenters about ways to save energy, students played "LINGO", which consisted of students answering questions to receive magnets or other prizes.
