Monroe County Seniors will meet at 9 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 13, and Friday, Oct. 15, at Zion Lutheran Church in Brodheadsville. The topic for the 15th is "Smile-Attitude Counts," presented by Prime Time's Kate Koehler.Drivers neededMonroe's Unit of the American Cancer Society needs volunteer drivers to take cancer patients to treatment through the Road to Recovery program. Drivers are needed Monday through Friday, mornings or afternoons. Those with a good driving record, free time and motivation to help should contact Karen Schiavone at (570) 562-9749. The society has two vans or volunteers may use their own car.
