The 48th annual Shower of Roses in Nesquehoning, the largest such event in the state which pays tribute to Saint Therese, again attracted thousands of Catholic worshipers. Rev. Msgr. Agnello Angelini, pastor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, sponsor of the event, said 37 busloads of people attended, some as far away a Syracuse and Utica, N.Y.
