Formation of a planning commission for the community was authorized at a meeting of the Nesquehoning Borough Council. Attorney Robert Lazorchick was directed to prepare and ordinance providing for the commission which will consist of five members. A group of the councilmen plan to attend an eight-week course on community planning, starting Tuesday, at Wilkes College. In one other matter, the borough authority was instructed to secure prices on office equipment for newly hired borough bookkeeper, Mrs. Helen Choley.
