A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of hit and run following a sideswipe type accident that occurred about 12:07 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 18, along SR901 in the area of a coal breaker in Pottsville.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Michelle Miller, 38, of Shenandoah, was westbound and David Terleckas, 53, of Pottsville, was eastbound. Troopers said Miller's Plymouth Neon crossed the double yellow line and sideswiped Terleckas' Toyota Rav4. After impact both pulled off the side of the road. However, after a short period of time Miller fled the scene.Miller and passenger Brad Scheeler, 34, of Barnesville, were not injured but a juvenile in the car was sustained a minor injury. Terleckas was not injured.Troopers said damages were minor to both vehicles.Miller will be charged with several traffic code violations, troopers added.
