The state liquor control board's Wilkes-Barre enforcement office has cited a Carbon County business.

2008 River Walck Saloon, LLC, 101 Centre St., Box 8, Parryville, has been cited for used, or permitted to be used on the inside/outside of the licensed premises, a loudspeaker or similar device whereby the sound of music or other entertainment, or the advertisement thereof, could be heard.This charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50-$1,000 for minor offenses up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. In addition, the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge brought.
