About 130 residents participated in the first Franklin Township Lions Picnic in the Park on Sunday at the Phifer Ice Dam Park.

Seniors over 65 years old enjoyed the camaraderie with old friends, and were treated to a free meal. The The Mudflaps were in top form as they shared the oldies from the 50s and 60s throughout the afternoon. Those attending also had the opportunity to win free prizes during the day of activities.
