The Preceptor Alpha Upsilon Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority held its first regular meeting of the season at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant in Hamburg. Cathy Santee served as host. Prior to the meeting, the group participated in a scavenger hunt at Cabela's.On Sept. 11, the chapter met at St. Luke's Pavilion, Coaldale, for an end of summer party/cookout with residents of the Geriatric Center at St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital.Patti Confer is coordinating the fundraisers, with proceeds to be used towards sponsoring community events.The next regular meeting of the chapter will be held at 6 p.m., Sept. 22, at the home of Patti Confer.
