A Schuylkill County police officer apparently took his own life.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Orwigsburg patrolman William Bradley, 47, was found in the locker room area of the police station on Sunday, about 1 p.m. by Chief of Police Stanley Brozana.Troopers said Bradley apparently died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Bradley was pronounced dead at the scene by county coroner Joseph Lipsett. Troopers said Bradley died sometime between 11 a.m. and when his body was found.The investigation is being handled by the criminal unit of the Schuylkill Haven barracks.
