Karen Werkheiser attended the last Eldred Township supervisors' meeting to present a petition to keep the name of their private road name of Hemlock Road, which had been changed to Wisteria Lane through the new countywide readdressing system. The supervisors agreed they could keep the name and a township road located in High View Estates with the old name of Hemlock Road to be given another name.

Trick or Treat night will be on Oct. 31 from 5-8 p.m.Austyn Flurer informed the township that he has decided not to help with the Chestnut Ridge caboose clean up for his Pleasant Valley senior project.The supervisors asked Michael Kaspszyk, township solicitor, to:*amend the proposed sign ordinance that he has been preparig for the township's consideration.*create an alternative energy ordinance for on site solar, wind and outdoor wood furnaces, etc.*add an addendum to the fire escrow ordinance to add information about billing the insurance companiesThese prospective ordinances will be advertised for adoption probably within 60 days.
