The Carbon County Emergency Management Agency and Communications Center, located at 1264 Emergency Lane, Nesquehoning, will host an open house this Thursday, Sept. 23, from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The open house is being held in conjunction with National Preparedness Month 2010.Visitors will have the opportunity to see what emergency personnel such as the EMA coordinator and 911 dispatchers do to help keep Carbon County residents safe.
