A Monroe County home invasion incident has led to three arrests and the investigation is continuing into alleged illegal drug activity.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said the incident began about 3:22 p.m. Thursday when officers were dispatched to a home invasion report at 503 Butz Lane in the Blueberry Estates development in Tobyhanna Township.Upon arrival officers located at 26-year-old female and her 22-year-old boyfriend, not identified by officers, who were ordered out of the residence. The female told police that her mother, Emma Risper, 46, was in the kitchen suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.Officers entered the home and found Risper with a wound to the head. Risper told officers two black males entered the house and she claimed one shot her in the head. Later, police learned she was struck on the head by one of the suspects with a gun which discharged and the bullet struck the ceiling.A description of the suspects and the vehicle, a Honda Civic, was provided by the daughter and boyfriend.Responding units from Pocono Township police observed the suspect vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed south on Sullivan Trail. A vehicle stop was made at the Crossings Outlet Mall in Tannersville.Four males were in the car. Witnesses were brought to the scene and positively identified the suspects as being involved in the home invasion.Found in the vehicle was a male juvenile, two 18-year-old males and a 19-year-old male.The investigation revealed that the suspects allegedly went to the residence to purchase marijuana from Aimeil Bailey, 22, of Pocono Summit. Two of the suspects, Kahien Williams, 19, and Ronald Walker, 18, both of Tobyhanna, met Bailey outside the residence then forcibly entered the home armed with a handgun looking for additional amounts of marijuana. The two encountered Risper and ordered her to the kitchen and forced her to sit on the floor. Williams then struck her with the gun on the head causing it to discharge. Police recovered a handgun near the vehicle stop. Also found at the vehicle stop was a large bag of marijuana.Williams was also found to be in possession of two 9 mm cartridges. Williams and Walker will be charged with aggravated assault, burglary, robbery and other felony narcotic and firearm violations.Police returned to the residence and arrested Bailey for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. A search of the residence revealed additional quantities of marijuana and a bullet, which was recovered from the ceiling. Police also seized $5,000 in U.S. currency from Bailey which was identified as proceeds from the illegal distribution of marijuana.PMRP were assisted by Pocono Township police, Monroe County sheriff's department and a state police forensics unit.
