Two elderly women were injured Tuesday morning when involved in an accident along SR443 in Lehighton. The crash occurred just after 11 a.m. as it appeared a delivery unit for the NAPA store attempted to pull from their lot and make a left turn onto 443. It doing so it appears the driver pulled into the path of a westbound car occupied by the two victims. The two vehicles collided in the westbound lane. The two were treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics and transported to the Lehighton Hospital. Lehighton police are investigating the incident.
