A Lehigh County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following a one vehicle crash that occurred about 1 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 8, at 5281 Sell Rd., in Lowhill Township.

State police at Fogelsville said Chad Robert Dumbleton, 18, of Breinigsville, was driving a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee southbound and negotiating a right curve when he lost control. The vehicle traveled across the north lane and impacted with a rock embankment along the berm, then rolled onto the passenger side.Troopers detected to odor of an alcholic beverage on Dumbleton and he was asked to perform and failed field sobriety test. He was then placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.
