Pocono police report on arrests

Pocono Mountain Regional police reported on several arrests made by officers in recently.

On June 27 about 11:38 p.m. officers arrested Raymond Molina, 37, of Mt. Pocono on a warrant at 112 Pocono Blvd. While taking him into custody police found a prescription bottle which was not labled. During an interview Molina said he traded some of his prescribed oxycodone for xanax. He was charged with delivery/trade of a controlled substance, possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.On Aug. 29 about 11:45 p.m. officers responded to a report of a female yelling at 112 Pocno Blvd., Mt. Pocono. At the scene officers found Ronald A. Bergamino Jr., 27, and Amber Brannon, 23, both of Mt. Pocono. Bergamino was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance and while conducting a search heroin and a hypodermic needles were found on his person.He was arrested for possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness.Police were dispatched to a domestic argument on Monday, Sept. 6, about 8:25 p.m. at 2732 Hickory Rd., in Pocono Farms, Tobyhanna. Upon arrival officers spoke to Connie Lee, 47, of that address, who stated her husband, Angelo Bavaro, 57, had made threats to harm her 17-year-old daughter.Bavaro was highly intoxicated and became loud and uncooperative with officers. He was be charged with harassment and disorderly conduct and taken to the county prison.A traffic stop on Sunday, Sept. 5, about 11:47 a.m. along Kings Way in Tobyhanna led to an arrest. Police stopped a vehicle fore a bake light out. The driver was identified as Charles Vanalst, 19, of East Stroudsburg. A K-9 unit was called to the scene and a search of the vehicle realed a pipe containing marijuana rsidue as well as an empty dime size baggy containing marijuana residue, both located in the glove compartment. Also found in the car were numerous open and unopened cans of beer.Vanalst was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and underage drinking.On Aug. 15 at 3:10 a.m. police responded to a fight at 7274 Long Pine Drive, in A Pocono Country Place, Coolbaugh Township. At the scene officers found Jose Rodriguez, 27, and his brother, Herbert Rodriguez, 21, had gotten into a fight during which Herbert punched Jose several times knocking over his motorcycle. Herbert also damaged Jose's motorcycle.Herbert Rodriguez was charged with simple assault, harassment, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness, police said.A 14-year-old male juvenile from Tobyhanna was arrested on Sunday, Sept. 5, about 8:14 p.m. at the E-Park lot in A Pocono Country Place due to a physical altercation involving another 14-year-old male. He was charged with simple assault.William J. Crawley , 49, of Tobyhanna, was charged for dog law violation of permitting his dog to run at-large and dogs required to be licensed.On Wednesday, Sept. 8, about 9 a.m. officers were called to the area of 611 Lakeside Drive, in Tobyhanna, to a report of a dog running loose. An investigation revealed Crawley's dog was running onto the properties in the area.On Monday, Sept. 6, about 12:30 p.m. officers observed two males throwing numerous bags of garbage in a dumpster belonging to Blue Ridge Communications and located along SR940 in Pocono Summit.The two were identified as Roman Mykytyn, 39, and Oleksandr Dmytrenko, 41, both of Roselle Park, N.J. Both admitted they had no permission to place items in the dumpster. Both were cited for theft of services.
