In keeping with the policy established by the Bandstand TV program and other similar video shows dedicated to the 'teenage' dancing set, all future dances at the Parish Hall, West Broadway, Jim Thorpe, will find dungarees on the taboo list. Young people attending these regular Saturday night dances will not be admitted unless properly attired. The Bandstand program insists that all the dancers be properly garbed, dungarees being prohibited.
