New family-operated family practice in New Ringgold

Rosalee "Rose" Rehrig, D.O., P.C., born and raised in New Ringgold, is now operating her Family Practice closer to home after having her Family Practice at 2175 Blakeslee Boulevard West in Lehighton for the past seven years.

Her Family Practice is now located at 1796 West Penn Pike, SR-309, in New Ringgold. This was where the "Under the Apple Tree" florist had once been.She started off in life working as a waitress at the Leiby's Restaurant and later chose to pursue a career in family medicine. Dr Rehrig's mother, sister, and niece are among the five medical employees that work there.Dr Rehrig graduated from Osteopathic Medicine at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in June of 2000. Dr Rehrig said, "I really love this area. I love the people. And I am very grateful to be able to give back to my home community."An open house was held recently at her new building as a courtesy for her current patients as well as to provide an opportunity for the public or new patients to stop in. Her newly-remodeled building, which is open weekdays, also offers three examination rooms and a lab with the capabilities of drawing blood and providing urinalysis.Dr Rehrig stated she is currently taking new patients.
