A Schuylkill County man has been cited for violating a protection from abuse (PFA) order.

State police at Frackville said James Paul Lake, 38, of Middleport, violated the order when he made contact with Tonya Lee Kerns, 33, also of Middleport, by text message. A charge of indirect criminal contempt has been filed against Lake and an arrest warrant obtained, troopers said.Troopers said the violation occurred on Monday, Aug. 23, about 2:58 p.m.
