Criminal mischief incidents probed

State police at Lehighton reported on several acts of criminal mischief being investigated by troopers.

Troopers said unknown criminals damaged crops along Spruce Road near Mt. Eaton Road, in Ross Township, Monroe County, sometime overnight of Aug. 13-14. Three hay fields were damaged when a vehicle was driven through them. Damages were estimated at $2,000. Anthony John Compagnola, 36, of Bath, is the owner of the fields.Sandra Desiderio, 37, of Box 3380, Shady Oaks Drive, Saylorsburg, reported someone flattened a tire on her vehicle sometime between 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 14 and 8:16 a.m. on Aug. 16, while parked at her residence.Anna Hill, 40, of Stacia Way, Ross Township, reported someone slashed two tires on her 1996 Chevrolet Blazer while parked at her residence. The incident occurred sometime between midnight and noon on Aug. 14.Brenda Murphy, 26, of Bonser Rd., Saylorsburg, Ross Township, reported someone slashed two tires on her 1997 Jeep Cherokee while parked at her residence. The incident occurred sometime between 2 a.m. and noon on Aug. 14.Samantha A. Vanbuskirk, 19, of HC1 Box 231, Sciota, reported someone damaged the trunk lock and scratched the side door on her 2005 Ford Focus while parked at the Wild Creek Trail parking lot in Towamensing Township. The incident occurred sometime between 12:15 and 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 13.Viven Kloss, 30, of 13 Mountain View Drive, Gilbert, Polk Township, Monroe County, reported someone used a blunt object to damage her metal maibox. The incident was reported on Aug. 16 at 12:30 p.m. Damages were estimated at $50.Mary Anne Eveland, 53, of 1375 Koch Rd., Kunkletown, reported her maibox was damaged sometime between 3 and 6:15 a.m. on Aug. 13.Carol J. Favire, 66, of 3553 Meixell Valley Rd., Saylorsburg, Ross Township, reported her mailbox was damaged. The incident was reported at 11 p.m. on Aug. 18.Terry L. Detwiller, of Foxcroft Drive, Saylorsburg, Ross Township, reported someone damaged his mailbox sometime between 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 20 and 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 21.John Paul Klingel, 56, of Rossmor Drive, Saylorsburg, Ross Township, reported someone egged his residence on Aug. 19, no time frame given.
