Arrests reported by PSP Lehighton

State police at Lehighton reported on several arrests made by troopers in recent days.

A Kunkletown, Monroe County, man was cited twice on Friday, Aug. 20. Troopers said about 5 a.m. Jared Lee DaHaven, 25, was cited for simple assault for an incident at SR534 and Middle Creek Rd., in Polk Township. He was involved in a verbal altercation with a 25-year-old female from Kunkletwon during which he allegedly struck her in the face with a closed fist. The woman sustained injuries to the face, troopers added.At 7:25 p.m. DaHaven was cited for harassment at the same location as above. In the incident he allegedly threatened a 20-year-old male with bodily harm, troopers said.Benjamin F. Williams, 25, of Lehighton, was arrested following an incident on Aug. 11 about 9:30 p.m. along Stagecoah Road West, in Towamensing Township, Carbon County. Troopers said Williams allegedly grabbed a 53-year-old male from Lehighton by the neck and proceeded to choke him. He also threatened to stab the victim, troopers said.Williams was placed under arrest and arraigned before District Judge Bruce Appleton, of Palmerton, on charges of simple assault, terroristic threats and harassment. He was committed to the county prison in Nesquehoning after failing to post bail, troopers added.Troopers said Ryan Cebrosky, 18, of Palmerton, was arrested about 1 a.m. on Aug. 14 along Delaware Avenue in Palmerton. He was cited after he was found under the influence of alcohol and in possession of a controlled substance while stumbling across the road, troopers said. He is facing drug charges.Gregory J. May, 22, of Saylorsburg, was cited for disorderly conduct on Sunday, Aug. 22, about 9:30 p.m. at the West End Fairgrounds in Gilbert, Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. May allegedly threw a cup of coffee on the side of the vehicle of a 18-year-old female from Saylorsburg, troopers said.Troopers said on Aug. 14 about 6:45 p.m. troopers were called to the Shell service station at 1583 SR903, Jim Thorpe, Penn Forest Township, for a report of a disorderly conduct incident. On scene troopers were told by Amaria Coveos, 65, of Jim Thorpe, that she observed on a video surveillance monitor a person scattering fallen tree limbs from his property onto her property. She went outside and confronted the man, who she said, continued to throw the limbs on her property. When she told him police were en route he left the scene.Coveos identified the man as Lewis M. Gullone, 52, of Jim Thorpe, who she knew from a prior association. Troopers said Gullone has been charged with disorderly conduct.On Aug. 12 about 1:32 a.m. a person was found walking along Forest Inn Road, in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County, in a intoxicated condition. The person was identified as Kelly Jordan, 43, of Palmerton. Troopers said a charge of public drunkenness is pending.Deanna Hornig, 30, of Saylorsburg, was cited for harassment, troopers said, after she allegedly sent vulgar messages to a 30-year-old male. The incident occurred at 11 Weir Mountain Estates, Ross Township, Monroe County, on Friday, Aug. 20, about 5:40 p.m.Two persons were cited for criminal mischief.Colleen A. Small, 52, of Long Island, N.Y., was cited for allegedly intentionally damaging the window on a home along Kunkletown Road, in Eldred Township, Monroe County. The incident occurred about 9:52 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 21.William R. Reider, 27, no address given, was cited after he and John M. Dilli, 23, of Nazareth, entered into a verbal altercation along Upper Smith Gap Road, in Ross Township. Reider allegedly threw a plastic bottle at Dilli's vehicle causing damages, troopers said. The incident occurred about 4:45 p.m. on Aug. 14.
