Kyle Smith, 11, son of Nancy Frye and Ed Kashmer of Tamaqua, received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Tamaqua Borough Council during a recent meeting. Kyle received the certificate and recognition for volunteering his time collecting litter at various community parks and participating in various other community improvement projects.
