Scouts take to the river

Recently 21 Scouts and fathers from Boy Scout Troop 555, Penn Forest Township, took a three-day, 35-mile canoe trip on the Delaware River from Milford to the Delaware Water Gap. "It's a wonderful character-building experience," said Scoutmaster Ray Attewell, "especially for younger Scouts, and their fathers alike. Three of the five fathers that participated were there with their first-year Scouts." Pictured are the Scout taking a breather at the Dingmans Ferry access point.
