A Monroe County man was cited for an incident at a firemans carnival.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said about 11 p.m. on Tuesday, July 27, officers on patrol in the area of the a firemans carnival in Mt. Pocono observed and heard a large group of young males leaving the carnival grounds yelling profanities. Officers advised them to leave the area immediately.One of the group crossed SR611 and then yelled and screamed profanities toward another group of individuals leaving the carnival which consisted of young children and their parents.The person was identified as Denzel Scott, 20, of Stroudsburg. He was issued a citation for disorderly conduct, police said.
